Massimo Giulimondi

Massimo holds a degree in Italian law (Sapienza) and a Master of Business Administration (St. John’s University, College of Business); took graduate-level courses in economics, accounting and finance (visiting student Johns Hopkins University, School of Business).  Over thirty years of experience in finance and management gained in the public and private sectors.

Initially dealt with official financing, in the field of export credit granting and restructuring (Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, 1985-1993) and multilateral assistance to the balance of payments (International Monetary Fund, 1994-1995).  Worked in debt capital markets in the trading rooms of the MEF (1996-2000) and Inter-American Development Bank (Senior Funding Officer, 2001). Board member of Banca Mediocredito del Friuli Venezia Giulia from 1998 to 2000.

Executive at Dexia Crediop (2002-2014), a bank specializing in public and project finance, MEF (2015-2016) and Region of Marche (2017-2018), held key positions in the financing of investments via debt, securitization and project financing, in risk and cash management, in the access by SMEs to European structural and investment funds.  Registered as a financial advisor since 2006.
