Michele Russo

Michele holds a degree in Management “cum Laude” from the Luiss University in Rome. Winner of a Fulbright grant and Master of Science in Management at M.I.T. (Sloan School). Since 1989 Professor of “State Accountancy” and later “Markets and Regulation” at Luiss University and at the Post-Doctoral School for legal professions.

He wrote several articles and discussion papers in macroeconomics, industrial policy and sovereign risk management.

He has an outstanding management experience in several industries (air transportation, food, telecoms) both at holding level and at an operational level; he held positions in general management, strategic and financial planning, internationalization, joint venturing and marketing. He also takes part, as a representative of the corporate world to several inter-governmental tables with particular respect to the institutional telecoms industry and to offset for defense contracts.
From 2004 to 2015 Michele has worked for a primary banking group where he has been in charge of the origination of Fixed Income and Capital Market deals.
