Marco Carpinelli

Marco obtained his degree in management “cumlaude” in 1989 at Luiss University in Rome and started his career as an account supervisor at Price Waterhouse and Reconta Ernst & Young. In 1991 he joined Banca Commerciale Italiana where he worked in the Credit Division at the headquarters of the bank in Milan. He then continued his career in national and international primary banks, mastering the behavior of financial markets, financing techniques and risk management.
Vice President from 2001 to 2015 he has been head of Italian capital markets activities for the Banque Internationale a Luxembourg and then head of Public Utilities origination at Dexia Crediop.
He has worked in Project Finance, privatizations procedures of state owned and private owned companies, bond issuance for private and government owned entities, derivatives, interest rate risk management, securitizations, non-performing loans and syndicated loans. He has also acted as rating advisor for government owned and private issuers.
Since 2015, Marco is a certified public accountant and an accounting advisor.
